If you just ordered Xfinity TV service and are waiting for equipment to be installed in your home, you can start watching a popular selection of live sports, news, and On Demand titles on your smartphone, tablet, computer, Chromecast, AirPlay, or Fire TV device. Download the Xfinity Stream app or visit xfinity.com/stream to watch.
You’ll just need an Internet connection and your Xfinity ID and password for access. To learn more, see how to start watching available networks. If the networks on that list are included in the Xfinity TV subscription you ordered, you'll be able to start watching them immediately after your order. Some content and features vary depending on your location and level of service.

After your home installation is complete, you’ll have access to the full Xfinity Stream experience, which includes:
- Your full channel lineup and On Demand library.
- Ability to schedule DVR recordings from any device and download your library for offline viewing (if cloud-based DVR service is included in your Xfinity TV service).
- Access to Xfinity Stream on other compatible devices.

- Open the Xfinity Stream app on your device and follow the prompts to sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
- Note: If you don’t remember your username and password, or don’t have a username, tap More options (next to Can’t sign in?).

- Until your equipment is installed, you'll see this message when you launch the Xfinity Stream app.
- To check out the networks available for preview before installation, tap the Live TV option on the bottom navigation bar.

- Visit xfinity.com/stream. Select Sign In.
- Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.

- Select Learn More to start watching a selection of shows and movies on Xfinity Stream.
- Until your equipment is installed, you'll see this message when you launch the Xfinity Stream portal.
- To find all the live channels that are included in your Xfinity TV service and are available before your equipment is installed, click the Live TV drop-down menu button in the top navigation bar, followed by All Channels.
- Once available, you’ll be notified within the Xfinity Stream portal that you now have access to your full subscription and services.

Many of the networks included with your TV subscription are available, though not all. You can find them through the main menu, under For You, Browse, or Live TV.
