We're making some changes to the format of our bills. Beginning on December 10, 2024, the video package on your monthly bill will show the combined price for your video service and any programming-related fees, such as Broadcast TV and/or Regional Sports Fees, if applicable. This way, you'll see the total cost of your video services all in one place. We will continue to itemize certain fees so that you can also see a breakdown of those costs. We've included an easy before and after view of the simplified video service pricing changes we are making to our bills. Click here to see an example.

The changes in format of your video services will begin on or after December 10, 2024. Timing varies by region, but most customers will see a price increase starting with their January bill statement. Information about this increase is included in a letter titled "Upcoming price changes to Xfinity services" which can be found enclosed in the bill statement 30 days prior to the new rates taking effect. The letter can also be found digitally in PDF, which can be downloaded from the bill statement 30 days prior to the new rates taking effect.

If you have a promotional price or minimum-term agreement for specific services, prices for those services won’t change until that period is over. However, taxes and fees such as equipment charges, the Broadcast TV Fee and Regional Sports Network Fee, and service to additional TVs may change as needed. View your billing statement in your account to see your plan, charges, and fees anytime.

Previously, the Broadcast TV Fee and Regional Sports Network Fee appeared as separate charges on your bill. Now, they are combined into the total price of your video package, if your package has broadcast programming or regional sports network programming. However, those elements of your video price will continue to change independently of the balance of your video service charges as they result from third party charges.

The Broadcast TV Fee is not a government-mandated fee and will increase from time to time. It is based on our costs of providing the local broadcast stations that we carry on our cable systems in each area. These costs include the fees that the broadcast stations charge us to carry them on our cable systems, which are among our largest increasing costs. The Broadcast TV Fee is not included as a part of our promotional pricing or pricing under your minimum-term agreement and can increase during your promotion or minimum-term. You'll receive advance notice before an increase takes effect.

The Regional Sports Network Fee is based on our costs of providing the regional sports networks that we carry on our cable systems in each area. These costs include the fees that regional sports networks charge us to carry them on our cable systems, which are among our largest increasing costs. The Regional Sports Network Fee is not included in our promotional pricing or pricing under your minimum-term agreement and can increase during your promotion or minimum-term. You'll receive advance notice before an increase takes effect.
