Where to Watch Christmas NBA Games

Watch NBA Christmas games 

This year, fans can look forward to five exciting NBA Christmas games, all airing on ESPN and ABC. The holiday lineup promises thrilling matchups featuring the league's top teams and star players, making it a must-watch tradition. With games starting at 12 PM EST, basketball will be the perfect centerpiece for holiday entertainment. Here’s the schedule for 2024’s NBA Christmas games: 

• San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks – 12:00 p.m. EST on ESPN 

• Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks – 2:30 p.m. EST on ABC and ESPN 

• Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics – 5:00 p.m. EST on ABC and ESPN 

• Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors – 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC and ESPN 

• Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns – 10:30 p.m. EST on ESPN 

Where to watch NBA games? 

While preseason begins early October, the 2024-2025 NBA season begins October 22nd and ends April 13th of next year. If you’re wondering, “How can I watch NBA games?” Here are some ways: 

Watch NBA on cable 

• Watch local NBA games on regional sports networks (example: Philadelphia 76ers games can be seen on NBC Sports Philadelphia). 

• National NBA games can be seen on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and TNT. Not sure if you have these channels? Check your local lineup of channels in your area.   

• You can watch national NBA games with NBA TV: the best lineup in the league, with 24/7 coverage, live games, highlights, expert analysis, and all the action fit for the court. NBA TV is available to X1 customers with the Ultimate TV package. 

NBA League Pass 

With NBA League Pass you get up to 40 out-of-market games each week. You can watch them live, watch them later when you record them with X1, or on demand with any device that supports streaming through Xfinity Stream in-home only. You can also authenticate your cable subscription to watch on the NBA app.

How to stream NBA online 

Besides NBA League Pass, you can use Xfinity Stream to stream games from ESPN and other sports networks to which you subscribe through X1. You can also stream NBA games from your favorite sports apps via Xumo Streambox.  

How to watch college basketball live 

There are many channels where you can watch college basketball on cable: ABC, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, FOX, FS1, TBS, TNT, and truTV. You can also watch 150 basketball matchups on the ACC Network, Big Ten Network, and SEC Network. Not sure if you have these channels? Check your local lineup of channels in your area.   

How to watch March Madness 

Looking for how to watch March Madness for college basketball? Men’s March Madness is exclusive to CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV. Women’s March Madness is exclusive to ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPNews. Not sure if you have these channels? Check your local lineup of channels in your area.   

Follow your favorite basketball teams & players with Xfinity Sports Zone
