Troubleshoot your Nest Thermostat
Note: Nest is no longer a Works with Xfinity partner. If you linked your Nest account with Xfinity Home prior to September 3, 2019, you can continue to control your installed Nest Thermostats via the Xfinity Home app, just as long as you don’t migrate your Nest account to a Google account.
Before you begin:
- Have you installed your Nest Thermostat and activated it with the Nest app?
- Have you connected your Nest Thermostat to the Xfinity Home app?
- Do you know how to control your Nest Thermostat from the Xfinity Home app?
- Is a rule to control your Nest Thermostat not working?
- Is a scene not working?
If you can't control your Nest Thermostat from the Xfinity Home app:
- Restart the Xfinity Home app.
- If the problem continues, check to see if you can control your Nest Thermostat from the Nest app.
- If you can control the device from the Nest app, wait a few minutes, and then try the Xfinity Home app again, or contact us.
