It’s easy to take your services with you when you move.
If your new address is not compatible with Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Voice, Xfinity TV, or you cancel these services for any reason, you'll see a $25/mo fee per line on future Xfinity Mobile bills. You also won’t be able to continue paying off your device over time through your Xfinity Device Payment Plan or add new lines to your plan.
If Xfinity Internet is not offered at your new address, you can schedule your move and maintain your Xfinity Mobile service with no changes.

If you've decided to cancel your Xfinity Mobile service and still owe a balance on your Device Payment Plan, you have several options:
• Pay off the device in full, then contact us to unlock it. This is required if you plan to bring your device to a new carrier.
• Continue with the remaining monthly device payments while maintaining Xfinity Internet, Xfinity TV, or Xfinity Voice service.
• Cancel all Xfinity services and pay the remaining balance due on your device with your final Xfinity Mobile bill.
If you're leaving Xfinity Mobile for another carrier, you can begin service with your new carrier. Nothing else to do. When you transfer your number, your Xfinity Mobile service will automatically be canceled.
If you're transferring your number, don’t cancel your Xfinity Mobile service before activation with your new carrier. It will stop the transfer request and forfeit your number.
If you need to unlock your Xfinity Mobile phone so it can be used with another carrier, learn more.
When you contact your new phone carrier to transfer your number, they'll ask for an Xfinity Mobile security PIN. You may also hear this referred to as a “transfer” or “port out” PIN.
Here's how to request your security PIN:
- Sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account and go to the Devices tab.
- Select the device associated with the phone number you want to transfer to a new carrier.
- Scroll down the page to transfer your number, cancel this line.
- Select Learn More.
Select an active line, so we can send you a text message with your security PIN.
The same security PIN can be used to transfer any phone number on your Xfinity Mobile account. It will expire in 24 hours.
Once you tell your new carrier you're transferring a number from Xfinity Mobile, you don't have to call us to cancel. When activation with your new carrier is completed, we’ll automatically cancel your Xfinity Mobile service for that line.
If you want to completely deactivate your service and are not transferring to another carrier, schedule a time for us to call you back to cancel your Xfinity Mobile service.
If you cancel an Unlimited line, data charges for the line you are canceling will be prorated based on where you are in your current bill cycle. We don't prorate By the Gig data charges.
