For insight into your data usage, you can always visit your Xfinity Mobile account or the Xfinity app — it may take up to six hours to refresh your data usage. You'll find:
- Total shared data usage.
- Breakdowns of each By the Gig line's usage.
- A six-month overview of each line's usage.
- Data charges so far in your current billing cycle.
Usage notifications
We'll send you an email, text message, and a push notification (if you've opted to receive them) when you've used 50%, 80%, and 100% of your 1GB, 3GB, or 10GB By the Gig shared data amount. We'll also post a message on your Activity page in your Xfinity Mobile account online when you reach each threshold.
That way, you'll be informed and able to decide if you want to switch a line to Unlimited or just pay $20 for each additional GB you use when you go over.
Starting March 22, 2024, all new Xfinity Mobile customers choosing the By the Gig data option will have one option for By the Gig. That's 1GB of data that can be shared with others on your account with the cost of $20 for each additional GB. You can upgrade your account to the latest plan by visiting My Account online or the Xfinity app.
