We take your privacy and security very seriously — we know it's extremely important to you.
To keep your account secure, we recommend you know how to create, reset, or change your password, and take other steps to protect your information. To learn more, check out the links below.
Your Xfinity ID and password
You can use your Xfinity ID and password to take advantage of online features included with your services — like watching TV online with the Xfinity Stream app or accessing the internet on-the-go using an Xfinity WiFi hotspot.
Your Xfinity ID and password also give you access to all your account information online at xfinity.com/myaccount. From here, you can manage your services, change your account settings, make payments, and more.
Make your account more secure
- Learn how to keep your personal information safe by creating a stronger password. It's a good practice to use different passwords for different websites, so we strongly recommend you create a password just for your Xfinity account.
- Enroll in Two-step Verification to sign in and add another layer of protection to your account. Two-step Verification is a security measure that helps protect online access to your account, Xfinity web pages and most Xfinity apps by requiring a verification code in addition to your Xfinity ID and password to sign in.
Change or reset your password
If you want to change your password for security reasons, or if you've simply forgotten it, we can help. Visit xfinity.com/password to reset it.
Password recovery
You need to have a verified personal (non-Xfinity) email address or mobile phone number on your Xfinity account, so we can assist you in case you need to recover or reset your password.
