Adding a Suggested Scene
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the Automation icon (arrow over two dots).
- Tap the plus sign (+) in the title bar.
- Tap the Scenes tab.
- Tap the plus sign (+).
- If you want the scene to run at a scheduled time, tap the plus sign (+) in the Start Automatically section.
- You can still start the scene manually whenever you want to.

- Tap the underlined time to choose when to start the scene, then tap the calendar icon to choose the days the scene will run.
- Tap to select the start time, then tap the back arrow (<) at the top.
- Tap to choose which days it will run, then tap the back arrow (<) at the top.
- Tap Add.
- If the scene includes disarming your security system, enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code.
- The scene displays on the Automation screen under My Scenes.

Adding a Custom Scene
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the Automation icon (arrow over two dots).
- Tap the plus sign (+) in the title bar.
- To create a custom scene, tap Create Custom.
- Tap the pencil icon.
- Type a new Scene Name, then tap an icon.
- Tap the back arrow (<) at the top.
- Tap Add Devices.
- Select devices to add to the scene, then tap the back arrow (<).
- Only supported devices connected to your Xfinity system will be visible.
- When adding supported 24/7 Video Recording-enabled Cameras, the maximum number of Cameras recording must be less than or equal to the number of your 24/7 Video Recording subscriptions. If all Cameras are recording, one Camera will have stop recording before another can start. Learn how to troubleshoot 24/7 Video Recording scenes.
- Your security system must be disarmed and in a ready-to-arm state (doors/windows closed, zones clear) or an arm command will fail.
- Any scene that includes disarming your security system will require you to enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code. If the scene runs immediately, you will enter the code when you tap the Scene icon. If it is a scheduled run, it will go at the time you set the schedule.
- Tap the arrow (>) next to the device to change its setting or tap Add to keep the default device options.
- Tap a circle to select an action, then tap the back arrow (<).
- If a light can be dimmed, you'll be able to set the light level when selecting turn on. Learn more about dimmable lights.
- If the color of the light can be set, tap Color on the Turn on tile, then pick a hue from the Select Color screen. Learn more about choosing light color.
- If you want the scene to run at a scheduled time, follow the scheduling steps.
- Tap Add.
- The new scene displays on the Automation screen under My Scenes.
