This article discusses how Xfinity Internet customers can connect to Xfinity WiFi using an Android device.
If you are currently running Android 10 or earlier, you won’t be able to connect to the secure Xfinity WiFi hotspots, but can connect to our open network hotspots, which have the SSID xfinitywifi. If your device is running Android 11 or newer, you can connect to either our open network hotspots or to the secure network hotspots which have SSID XFINITY or Xfinity Mobile.

If you’re an Xfinity Mobile customer using a device that’s running Android 10 or older, you can connect to secure Xfinity WiFi hotspots by manually selecting the Xfinity Mobile SSID, then logging in through the pop-up window using your Xfinity ID and password.
If you’re an Xfinity Mobile-only customer (without Xfinity Internet) using an Android device or an Xfinity Internet-only customer (without Xfinity Mobile) using an Android device that is running Android 10 or older, you will not have access to secure hotspots, but you can connect to Xfinity WiFi by using the open public network (SSID: xfinitywifi).
