- Available for purchase through Xfinity Mobile at the point of sale of your new device, offering 24 months of coverage for a one-time charge.
Apple will send a Proof of Coverage email, including program details and claim information, to your contact email address on file.

What is AppleCare+?
AppleCare+ provides coverage for your Apple device for 24 months and provides peace of mind in the event of accidental damage.
Coverage includes unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection, battery service where the battery fails to hold an electrical charge at 80% of its original capacity, and it gives you 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone.
AppleCare+ through Xfinity Mobile is only available at the time of purchase for a new iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. If you decide not to purchase AppleCare+ at the time of the purchase of your new device, you may be able to purchase the protection plan later directly from Apple, if the device meets certain eligibility requirements.
Note: If you select AppleCare+ in addition to Xfinity Mobile Care, you may receive unwanted duplicate coverage. Please review each option carefully.
What's covered with AppleCare+?
AppleCare+ for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage protection. In addition, you’ll get Express Replacement Service and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts who know your device best by chat or phone.
AppleCare+ covers your device in the event of:
- Accidental damage from handling
- If you accidentally break your device while using it, it’s covered. AppleCare+ includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage, and Apple-certified technicians will repair your device.
- Service fees apply per approved claim.

- Hardware service
- If your device has a mechanical or electrical breakdown, after the manufacturer's warranty expires, your device will be repaired or replaced.

- If you need assistance with setting up your device, using device features or troubleshooting your device.

Does AppleCare+ also cover all my accessories?
AppleCare+ covers the accessories originally packaged with your device. AppleCare+ for iPad also includes coverage for one Apple Pencil and Apple-branded keyboard.

How am I billed for AppleCare+?
AppleCare+ through Xfinity Mobile is only available at the time of purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch and is paid up front as a one-time fee for 24 months of service.
AppleCare+ will show on the customer’s order confirmation and billing statement, appearing underneath the device line it was purchased for. AppleCare+ taxes are reflected separately on the bottom of the bill statement. Note: If you opt to buy AppleCare+ directly from Apple, it won’t appear on your Xfinity Mobile billing statement. Billing will be managed by Apple.
AppleCare+ is not renewable through Xfinity Mobile. If you are looking to renew your AppleCare+ you will need to contact Apple at 1-800-275-2273 or support.apple.com to renew your coverage, if eligible.
What happens if I return or exchange my device?
If you purchased AppleCare+ from Xfinity Mobile and return or exchange your device, please note the following:
- AppleCare+ coverage for the returned device will be cancelled automatically and you will receive a full refund within 60 days upon receipt of the device.
- For any other cancellation requests contact Apple directly at 1-800-275-2273 or visit support.apple.com.
- If your newly purchased device, which includes AppleCare+ is lost during delivery, Xfinity Mobile will automatically cancel the AppleCare+ plan and provide a full refund.
- AppleCare+ is not transferable to another device, except for warranty exchanges.

How do I obtain service and support with AppleCare+?
For service or technical support contact Apple at 1-800-275-2273 or visit support.apple.com. You must provide the Plan Agreement number or the serial number of the covered device.
You can find the plan agreement number and the serial number of the covered device in the Proof of Coverage email you received from Apple after purchasing AppleCare+.
What is the AppleCare+ cancellation policy?
AppleCare+ can only be cancelled directly with Xfinity Mobile within 14 days from when your device ships or is purchased at one of our retail locations.
- If you return your device within 14 days, AppleCare+ will be cancelled automatically and you will receive a full refund within 60 days.
- For any other cancellation requests, contact Apple directly.
- If you want to cancel AppleCare+ after day 14, please contact Apple directly at 1-800-275-2273.
