When you sign up for automatic payments and paperless billing and have an eligible package or level of service, you’ll receive a discount on your monthly Xfinity bill. The discount will begin within 45 days. Depending on the timing, the discount may not always appear on your next statement but will appear on your following bill.
The amount of the discount is determined by your automatic payment method:
- $10 for payments made directly from a checking or savings bank account
- $2 for payments made from a credit or debit card
If you have multiple accounts, each account must have an eligible plan to get the discount and have automatic payment and paperless billing established.

Will I lose my discount if I unenroll in either automatic payments or paperless billing?
If you remove automatic payments and/or paperless billing from your account, the discount will be removed. If you re-establish automatic payments and paperless billing and your services are eligible, you will receive the discount again.
Can I change my payment type at any time?
Yes, you can change from credit or debit card to bank payment, or vice versa, at any time.
- When changing your payment type from one method to another, such as a bank account to a credit card, your discount amount changes.
- If changing to the same payment type (such as swapping one credit card for another), the discount amount stays the same.
If I change my billing cycle, will that impact the discount?
No.
What happens to the discount if I go on a Seasonal Convenience Plan?
While you are on your Seasonal Convenience Plan, your discount doesn’t apply. However, when you return to your normal rates, the discount begins again.
