As of December 12, 2023, to view AXS TV on channel 1613, you'll need:
- A subscription that includes HD service.
- The Ultimate TV package or the Entertainment Genre Pack.
- In some areas, AXS TV is available in the Popular TV package. Package availability varies by location.
- A compatible Xfinity X1 TV Box.
An IP-capable device and HD programming (not included, additional charges may apply) will be required to view AXS TV.
The network will no longer be available to:
- X1 customers with an X1 RNG150 TV Box.
- These model boxes aren’t compatible.
- X1 customers without HD service.
- Non-X1 customers.
If you don't have compatible equipment and attempt to view AXS TV following the December 12 change, you’ll see an error message. You’ll need to change your equipment to view the channel.
If you’re impacted by the AXS TV change, we’ll send the following bill message to let you know it’s coming:
- "TV Update: Effective December 12, 2023, AXS TV HD will no longer be available in 3-digit channel placement. On the same day, AXS TV will be launched in HD IP on channel 1613. An IP capable device and HD programming (not included, additional charges may apply) are required to view AXS TV."

Is AXS TV moving Xfinity TV packages?
No, it’s remaining in the same package. It will continue to only be available in the Ultimate TV tier.
Why can’t I view AXS TV? This channel is part of my TV package.
AXS TV will only be available in HD IP only and can't be viewed on select TV Boxes. If you have an incompatible TV box, you'll need to upgrade equipment.

You can still view these channels through the Xfinity Stream app or website.
Is the channel number changing?
