Check for reported outages
Check to see if a service outage has been reported in your area by signing into your account and checking the Status Center, or register your phone to receive text alerts and text “Out” to 266278.
If you're a Comcast Business customer, go to our Service Status Center to check your service health.
Check the power and connections for your devices
If there are no reported outages, check for these common device issues:
- Make sure the plugs for the devices haven’t come loose, and the outlets are working with power.
- Check that all the cable connections are secure.
- If your TV is hooked up to a TV Box, VCR, or DVD player, check that the TV is on the right channel or input.
- If Xfinity TV isn't working on all your TVs, the problem is probably outside of your home.
Confirm your account is up to date on payments
Late payments can cause an interruption of service.
Restart your devices
You can troubleshoot specific service problems for the following services:
- Xfinity TV: Unplug the TV Box from the electrical outlet or the back of the TV Box for 15 seconds.
- Xfinity Internet: For the latest updates, use the Xfinity Assistant from your computer or the Xfinity app from your mobile device.
