If you are the primary user or account holder on an Xfinity account, you have the ability to change a password on a secondary user's account.
- The secondary user could be a Manager, Member, or Viewer on your Xfinity account.
- You may need to change their password if they're unable to because they don’t have a mobile number or non-Comcast email address listed on their account.
Change the password on secondary accounts
To change the password on a secondary user account:
- Sign in to xfinity.com as the Primary user.
- Click the Account icon
and then click Account and Identity.
- Scroll to view the users on the account.
- Click the user whose password you'd like to change.
- Scroll down to the Xfinity ID section and click Change Password under the user’s Xfinity ID.
- Enter a new password in the New password field. Enter the same password again in the Confirm new password field and click Save.
- After the password is changed, the secondary user should log in to their account to add a mobile number or non-Comcast email address so that they’re able to reset their password in the future.
