What you'll need
- Xfinity Home or Xfinity Internet
- Access to the Xfinity Home app
Delete a rule
Careful! Once you delete a rule, it's gone. If you want it back, you'll need to recreate it.
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the Automation icon (arrow over two dots).
- On the Automation screen, there are two ways you can delete a rule.
- Swipe left on a rule to show on/off and delete options for the rule, and tap Delete.
- Tap the rule to see its settings, and tap the blue trash can icon in the top-right corner of the Customize screen.
- Swipe left on a rule to show on/off and delete options for the rule, and tap Delete.
- In the confirmation box, tap Delete to permanently delete the rule, or tap Cancel to keep the rule.
