Discovery GO Network Apps on Xfinity Flex Overview

Catch up with your favorite Discovery shows anytime, anywhere with the all new Discovery GO network apps on Xfinity Flex, including Discovery GO, Food Network GO, HGTV GO, ID (Investigation Discovery) GO and TLC GO.

To access the apps, you’ll need:

• A supported streaming TV Box with Xfinity Flex service.
  
  • Xi5 streaming TV Boxes are not supported.
• A subscription package that includes the Discovery GO network apps (such as an eligible Choice TV Select with Xfinity Flex package or YouTube TV including these channels).

Access the Discovery GO Network Apps on Flex

The easiest way to get to the Discovery GO network apps is by saying the desired app’s name into your Xfinity Voice Remote:

• “Discovery GO”
• “Food Network GO”
• “HGTV GO”
• “ID GO”
• “TLC GO”
  
  

You can also press the xfinity button on your remote, go to the Apps row and navigate to the desired Discovery GO network app.

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to first activate your desired Discovery GO network app subscription with Xfinity.

Activate your Discovery GO Network App Subscription

To activate your Discovery GO network app subscription:

1. On your Flex streaming TV Box, navigate to the Discovery GO app that you want to watch (Discovery GO, Food Network GO, HGTV GO, ID GO or TLC GO).
2. Select Link TV Provider.
   
   
   
3. You'll see a unique activation code. Messaging will direct you to https://go.discovery.com/link on a computer or mobile device.
   
   
   
4. Enter the activation code on your computer or mobile device.
   
   
   
5. Select Xfinity from the list of TV providers.
   
   
   
6. You'll see a confirmation message.
   
   
   

Navigate Discovery GO Network Apps with Flex

Navigation within the Discovery GO network apps all follow the same basic flow. Once you’ve launched a Discovery GO network app, you’ll see these icons on the left-side of the screen:

• Home
  Selecting the Home icon brings you immediate access to featured content.
• Shows
  Selecting the Shows icon provides easy access to other Discovery GO network apps on Flex, filters for new and trending series and special themes, content and sub-genres within channels.
• Watch Live
  Selecting the Watch Live icon presents immediate access to on-air content. You can also access other Discovery GO network apps on Flex from the top toolbar.
• Search
  Selecting the Search icon allows you to search for content within the app.
• Account
