If you’ve submitted a request to download a copy of the personal information we’ve collected, you can check the status of your request and download it when it’s ready by following the steps below. You can also read our Privacy Policy to learn more about how we process these requests.
You or the person for whom you are making a request to download or delete personal information must be a California resident.
I currently have an account
- Sign in to your account in the Privacy Center (xfinity.com/privacy/requests) by entering your Xfinity ID and password, then click Sign In.
Note: If you are a current customer who had someone else make the request on your behalf, please follow the instructions in the next section. - We’ll send a verification code to the mobile phone number previously provided with your request in order to verify your identity.
- Your requests will be displayed along with status information. To download information from a completed request, click View details.
- Click Download File next to each file category to retrieve your personal information. Your download will expire 14 days after your request is completed. We recommend you securely download your files to a personal computer rather than to a mobile device.
- If you need help understanding your downloaded file, click data guides on the left side of the page. If you didn’t find what you were looking for, click Chat with us or tell us more on the right side of the page.
I used to have an account, I never had an account, or on behalf of someone else
- Access your request in the Privacy Center (xfinity.com/privacy/requests) by entering the contact information you submitted in your request, then click Submit. We’ll send a verification code to the mobile phone number previously provided with your request in order to verify your identity.
- Your requests will be displayed along with their status information. To download information from a completed request, click View details.
- Click Download File next to each file category to retrieve your personal information. Your download will expire 14 days after your request is completed. We recommend you securely download your files to a personal computer rather than to a mobile device.
- If you requested mail delivery of your personal information, each file on your encrypted USB drive can be unlocked and then downloaded with the code provided on this page. Please copy the code and store it in a secure location, as this page will expire 30 days after your request is completed.

If you clicked tell us more to request additional help, you can provide us with further details about what you’re looking for. Click Submit when you’ve completed all the fields, and you’ll see a confirmation screen that provides a confirmation code that you can use to check the status of your support request.
