FAQs
If I subscribe to a bundled package, how can I get employer reimbursement for only one or some of those products/services?
Bundled packages provide a single rate for multiple products/services. This rate is only available if you subscribe to the entire package.
Any individual product/service pricing needed by your employer for reimbursement must be determined between you and your employer. This means you need to discuss the combined bundled pricing and work with your employer to determine what the amount should be.
How do I calculate what the reimbursable amount is?
We provide regular pricing by product on the Rate Card for your area that can be used by your employer to come up with a reasonable reimbursement amount. This information is available at xfinity.com/support/rate-card and can be used to determine the full rate for Xfinity products/services. The full rates can also help you calculate the combined price for all products and determine the percentage that each product represents of the combined bundle price.
E.g., You have an Xfinity TV, Internet and Voice package for $129.99 and your employer will reimburse the Xfinity Internet charges. The full price for these three products when billed individually are:
- TV = $73.25
- Internet = $89.95
- Phone = $4.95
Total = $168.15
Your employer may elect to divide the unbundled price for Xfinity Internet service ($89.95) by the total price for all services unbundled ($168.15) to determine that Xfinity Internet makes up 53.14% of combined price. Your employer could then elect to apply 53.14% to your bundled rate to come up with an “internet cost.”
Ultimately, your employer will determine its own methodology for reimbursing you for those services.
Why won’t Comcast break out my bundle rate by product for me?
Your Xfinity bundle is discounted because you agreed to subscribe to multiple services priced as one package. The price wouldn't be the same if you subscribed to the products/services individually and had them billed individually. Because we price your bundle based on the entirety of what is ordered and not the sum of each individual product/service, we're unable to provide individual pricing.
If your employer requires that you no longer bundle your services to get reimbursed, don’t worry. Even though you'll lose the bundled rate, we'll do everything we can to get you the services you want at the best price possible. Just contact us to manage your services and learn more.
