What is For You?
For You is a personalized section of Xfinity On Demand that will offer a variety of recommendations on content to watch. It’s uniquely curated for each customer, making it easier for you to return to your favorite On Demand content, and also discover new programming you might enjoy.
Where can I find For You?
The easiest way to find For You is by saying “For Me” into your Xfinity Voice Remote. You can also find For You within Xfinity On Demand. Just press the xfinity button on your remote and then select On Demand. “For You” will be the first tab you see.
How is it personalized?
The For You section gives recommendations based on a lot of factors: content you’ve previously watched on Xfinity On Demand; content trending in your local market; content you’ve favorited; and content that’s culturally relevant.
Why are you doing this?
By showing personalized content recommendations, we’re providing an easier way to get to what’s most important to you quickly and easily.
Does this feature cost anything?
There is no cost because it’s included with X1.
Is For You available on the Xfinity Stream app?
Some personalized recommendations will be available on the Xfinity Stream app and online portal, but isn’t as robust yet as it is on X1.
Is For You available on Xfinity Flex?
At this time, For You is not available on Xfinity Flex.
What if I don’t want personalized TV and movie selections and recommendations? Can I turn them off?
Yes. You can turn off personalized recommendations by saying “Preferences” into your Voice Remote and turning off “Recommendations Based on History.” You’ll still see the For You section within Xfinity On Demand, but no personalized content will be shown there.
