Use your wireless keypad to arm and disarm your Xfinity Home system and check your system status.
What you'll need

- Access to your Wireless Keypad
- A valid keypad code
Arm system
To switch between armed modes, disarm the system first.

For a Centralite, TCH, or UEI Wireless Keypad
- Before you begin make sure the LED indicator is green (all zones are closed).
- Press the button for the armed mode you want to activate.
- Enter a valid keypad code. The exit delay tone sounds and accelerates during the final 10 seconds of the delay. The arm button that you pressed turns red and flashes when the system is armed.
For a Honeywell Wireless Keypad
- Enter a valid keypad code.
- Press the arming mode number:
- Press 2 for Away.
- Press 3 for Stay.
- Press 7 for Night.
The exit delay tone sounds and accelerates during the final 10 seconds of the delay. The status light turns red and flashes when the system is armed.
For an SMC Wireless Keypad
- Enter a valid keypad code.
- Press the button for the armed mode (Arm Away or Arm Stay) that you want to activate.
- The Lock button turns red for three seconds to indicate that the exit delay has started. In Arm Away mode, the exit delay tone sounds from the touchscreen.
- If the system is not ready for arming (a door or window may be open), the Lock button flashes orange seven times.
Disarm system
For a Centralite, TCH, or UEI Wireless Keypad
- Enter a valid keypad code before the Entry Delay period ends.
For a Honeywell Wired Keypad
- Enter a valid keypad code.
- Press 1 before the Entry Delay period ends.
For an SMC Wireless Keypad
- Enter a valid keypad code.
- Press the Lock button. The button turns green for three seconds to indicate that the system has been disarmed. There is no Entry Delay period.
Check system status
These colors indicate the system status:
- Red - The system is armed.
- Amber - The system is not ready to arm. For example, a door or window may be open or tampered. You’ll need to resolve the issue or bypass the sensor from the touchscreen or mobile app.
- Green - The system is ready and disarmed.
To view the status:
- Move near the Centralite Keypad. The Keypad has a proximity sensor that senses when you are within six inches. When the Keypad wakes up, the LED indicators at the top and bottom of the Keypad will flash the status color.
- Press the Status button (star icon) on the SMC Keypad. The Lock button will illuminate in the status color.
- Push any button on the Honeywell or TCH/UEI Keypads. The LED indicators will illuminate in the status color.
Send panic alarm (System Management Controller (SMC))
If you need immediate police assistance, press and hold the Panic button for two seconds to send a silent alarm to the Central Monitoring Station. The Lock button flashes red to indicate an alarm was sent.
