Rename a lock from the Xfinity Home touchscreen

Learn how to use your Xfinity Home touchscreen to rename a lock in your Xfinity Home system.

• Your Master Keypad Code

Renaming a lock

1. On your Home screen:
   • Swipe up to open the dashboard (if applicable), tap the gear icon, then tap Devices.
   • Or, if your touchscreen has apps, tap the Settings icon.
2. Enter your Master Keypad Code.
3. On the Categories screen, tap Home Devices.
   
4. On the Home Devices screen, tap Door Locks.
   
5. On the Door Locks screen, tap Edit Door Locks.
   
6. Tap the Lock that you want to change.
   
7. Tap the Door Lock Name field to open the keyboard.
   
8. Enter the new name, and then tap Done.
   

Congratulations! You've successfully renamed your Lock.
