Find or change your Xfinity ID

Your Xfinity username is part of your Xfinity ID, which you can use to sign in. It's also your @comcast.net email handle.

Find your Xfinity ID

Forgot your Xfinity ID? Your Xfinity ID is your email, mobile phone number or username. If you don’t know your Xfinity ID, use xfinity.com, the Xfinity app or your Xfinity X1 TV Box to find it.

Change your Xfinity username

You can change your Xfinity username at any time on the xfinity.com website. However, your old Xfinity username can’t be used again.

If you don’t need instructions, go to Account and Identity on xfinity.com.

1. Sign in to xfinity.com.
2. Click the Account icon and then click Account and Identity.
   
   
   
3. Under Your Information, click Xfinity ID and Security.
   
   
   
4. In the Your Information section, click Comcast email. 
   
   
   
5. Click Change email and username.
   
   
   
6. Confirm the password and enter the new Xfinity username in the New username box, then click Save.
   
   
   
7. A confirmation message will appear.

Find your Xfinity ID using the Xfinity App

To find your Xfinity ID in the Xfinity app:

1. Sign in to the Xfinity app on your mobile phone. 
2. Tap the Account tab at the bottom right of the app.
3. Tap Account settings.
   
   
   
4. Tap Xfinity ID and security.
   
   
   
5. Your Xfinity ID is under the Personal Information section.
   
   
   
   • Note: You can use your mobile number, personal email or Comcast email as your Xfinity ID.

Find your Xfinity ID with the Xfinity Voice Remote

Say “Xfinity ID” or “Username” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to find the primary user's Xfinity ID on your X1 TV box. Secondary users can find their Xfinity ID on xfinity.com or the Xfinity app.
