Internet Essentials provides fast, reliable internet for qualifying low-income families. Households that qualify for the Internet Essentials program may also qualify for amnesty of certain outstanding debt to Xfinity. If you have no outstanding debt to Xfinity that is less than one year old and meet all other Internet Essentials eligibility requirements, you can apply to the program and receive amnesty on your unpaid Xfinity debt.
Requirements
- The amnesty program is only for families with outstanding Xfinity debt more than one year old.
- You must be the owner of the past Xfinity debt in order to receive amnesty.
- You must meet all other Internet Essentials eligibility requirements.
- For more information, visit internetessentials.com.
- Receiving amnesty does not depend on the outstanding amount of debt.
- The one-year interval is based on the final disconnection date, as noted in the Xfinity billing system.
- You cannot receive amnesty on any unpaid Xfinity Mobile debt.
- When you accept amnesty, you can't upgrade your Xfinity Internet or any other services.
