You can use either the Xfinity Stream app or the Manage Devices page within the Xfinity Stream portal to view devices that have downloaded content and remove downloads from any device authorized for use with Xfinity TV.
View devices with downloaded content and remove downloads from the following:
- Xfinity Stream app (Xfinity X1 Cloud DVR downloads)
- Xfinity Stream portal (xfinity.com/stream)
Manage devices through the Xfinity Stream app
- Open the Xfinity Stream app, and go to Settings (or click the account icon).
- Tap Manage Devices.
- To return downloads from a device, under DEVICES WITH DOWNLOADS, tap Return on the device from which you wish to return watched content so it can be downloaded to another device.
- When asked, "Are you sure you want to return all downloads from this device?," tap Yes, return.
- This will return all downloads.
- You'll see a list of devices currently streaming.
- If you’ve reached your streaming limit, you’ll need to stop playback on one device before you can start playback on another.

Manage devices through the Xfinity Stream portal
- Visit xfinity.com/stream/settings/devices, enter your Xfinity ID or email address and password, and click the Sign In button.
- Go to Settings, and click Manage Devices.
- To remove a download from a device, under Devices with Downloads, select Return on the right side of the device with the download.
- Select Yes, return.
- Removal won't be immediate, so please revisit or refresh the page after five minutes.
- You'll see a list of devices currently streaming.
- If you’ve reached your streaming limit, you’ll need to stop playback on one device before you can start streaming on another.
