Learn how to update the list of people who can receive notifications of events in your home using the Xfinity Home app. Based on the rules you set up, the people on your Automation Contacts list can be notified when a system event occurs.

Accessing your automation contacts
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Settings.
- On the Settings screen, tap Contacts. The Contact List shows the people you can select to be notified when key events happen in your home. You'll need to set up a rule to send the notification in your Xfinity Home app.
Adding a contact
- In the Contact List, tap Add Contact.
- Enter the name, email address and phone number for the person you want to add to the contact list.
- Tap Add Email or Add Number to add another email address or phone number.
- Tap the checkmark to save.
Congratulations! When adding a rule you'll be able to send notifications of events to this contact.
Changing or deleting a contact
- In the Contact list, tap the pencil icon next to the contact that you want to change or delete.
- To change:
- Change the information as needed.
- Tap the checkmark to save.
- Change the information as needed.
- To delete:
- Tap Delete Contact.
- Tap DELETE.
- Tap Delete Contact.
