What does your touchscreen look like?
If your touchscreen looks like the one below, you're in the right place! Otherwise, go to the Xfinity Home Touchscreen Overview.

- Return to the Home screen.

The Home screen
The Home screen is the main display from which you can access all touchscreen features. It provides a visible and audible alert when a sensor is triggered while the system is armed or when an environmental sensor, such as a smoke detector, is activated.
The Home screen icons represent the apps that you use to manage different parts of your system. In addition to the standard apps, such as Security and Settings, you'll see an app for each type of device that you can install, configure and control, such as Cameras and Lights. You won't see apps for device types that require professional installation like Motion Sensors or Door/Window Sensors.
Some apps will change color to indicate what mode they are in. For example, the Lights icon is yellow when at least one light is on and gray when all lights are off.
Status Bar
The Status bar in the upper-left corner of the Home screen provides an at-a-glance overview of your system's security status.
- The system is disarmed. Tap the bar to open the Security screen, from which you can arm your system, bypass sensors and view live Camera feeds and sensor activity. For more information, see the Security Screen.
- The system is armed. Tap the bar to disarm your system.
- The system is arming in Away mode and counting down the number of seconds left in the exit delay before arming becomes active. Tap the bar to open the Security screen, from which you can cancel the arming process.
- The system is arming in Stay or Night mode and is counting down the number of seconds left before arming becomes active. Tap the bar to open the Security screen, from which you can cancel the arming process.
- The indicated sensor has been triggered while the system is armed, and the entry delay has begun. Tap the bar to open the Security screen, from which you can cancel the alarm process.
System Trouble Messages
System trouble messages appear in the upper-right corner of the Home screen, letting you know when there's a problem with the system power, connection, communication or sensors.
Tap the message to see more information about the problem.
On the Troubles screen, you can acknowledge some messages by tapping OK, which removes the message from the Home screen and "snoozes" it for four hours. For others, you'll need to fix the problem before the message goes away. For more information, see Xfinity Home Trouble Messages.
Did You Know? Xfinity Home has a Do Not Disturb feature that you can use to automatically mute the audible alert for most trouble messages during times when you may be asleep or otherwise don't want to be interrupted. For details, see Modify Do Not Disturb Settings on the Touchscreen.
