Accessing keypad codes
- What does your touchscreen look like?
- If your Home screen looks like the one below, tap the gear icon, then tap Security and continue to step 2.
- If not, tap the Settings icon and continue to step 2.
- If your Home screen looks like the one below, tap the gear icon, then tap Security and continue to step 2.
- Enter your Master Keypad Code.
- On the Categories screen, tap Security.
- On the Security screen, tap Manage Keypad Codes.
Adding a secondary keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access the Manage Keypad Codes screen.
- Tap Add Keycode at the upper right.
- Enter the desired Name and 4-Digit code. Select the access level and the days of the week that you want the code to be active on.
- Tap Save. That's it! You created a new Secondary Keypad Code.
Changing a keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access the Manage Keypad Codes screen.
- Tap Edit next to the code you want to change.
- On the Edit Keypad Code screen, make your changes.
- If you want to change the access level (Standard, Guest, Arm Only) for a Secondary Keypad Code, you'll need to delete the code and create a new one with the access level that you want.
- You cannot change the Active Days for the Master Keypad Code, which is always active.
- Click Save.
Deleting a secondary keypad code
- Follow the instructions to access the Manage Keypad Codes screen.
- Tap Edit next to the code you want to delete.
- On the Edit Keypad Code screen, tap Delete User at the bottom left.
- Tap Yes to permanently delete this Secondary Keypad Code.
