You can upgrade to NOW TV — or cancel NOW TV — right from your Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex.

How to upgrade
If you want to upgrade to NOW TV, you can do so right from your Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex! Here’s how:
- Just say "NOW TV" into your Voice Remote, or select the NOW TV tile at the top of the screen from the main menu (home screen).

- You’ll see the channel lineup that’s included with NOW TV. Select Next to proceed with your NOW TV order.
- Read through the NOW TV terms and conditions. To finalize your order, select Start my subscription.
- Wait for your order to process.
- Your Peacock Premium activation code will generate. Remember, a subscription to NOW TV includes Peacock Premium at no extra cost.
- You can choose to set up your Peacock Premium account now by scanning the QR code with your mobile device, or wait to set up Peacock at a later time.
- Once finished, select Next.
- Your order has been processed. Select Launch Xfinity Stream to begin watching NOW TV.
- If you don’t see this option, select Done to go back to your Home screen, then select the Xfinity Stream app tile to begin watching.
- If you haven't activated your Peacock account yet, you can do so by logging in to xfinity.com/chat.
- Click Sign In in the upper-right corner of the page.
- From there, Xfinity Assistant will prompt you to activate your subscription.

Note: You may see an option to subscribe to NOW TV again after completing the activation process. This is a known error. Please do not attempt to resubscribe to NOW TV after successfully activating the first time.
How to cancel
If you want to cancel your NOW TV service, you can do so right from your Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the home screen on your device.
- Select Settings at the bottom of your screen.
- View your current subscriptions.
- Xfinity Flex — Select the Apps & subscriptions tile:
- Xumo Stream Box — Select the My Subscriptions tile:
- Xfinity Flex — Select the Apps & subscriptions tile:
- On the Manage subscriptions page, select Unsubscribe.
- To confirm you’d like to unsubscribe from NOW TV with Peacock Premium, select Unsubscribe again.
- Your NOW TV and Peacock Premium subscription will end immediately. Select Unsubscribe to continue.
- Note: While your subscription will end immediately, it may take up to one day to reflect on the Manage Subscriptions page on your TV.
- You’ll see a confirmation message that you’ve successfully canceled NOW TV and Peacock Premium. Select Okay to finish.

Will I receive new equipment when I upgrade to NOW TV?
No — you won’t need to buy or install new equipment. You can enjoy Xfinity TV service right from your current Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex.
Now that I’ve upgraded to NOW TV, where can I watch live and On Demand TV?
You can access your NOW TV service through the Xfinity Stream app on your Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex.
Why can’t I upgrade to NOW TV on my Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex?
You may have an older device that doesn’t support upgrading your service. You can replace your streaming TV Box by contacting us or logging in to your account on xfinity.com.
If I already have add-on services like Netflix, Max, Showtime, etc., will I have to repurchase them once I upgrade to NOW TV?
No. Access to additional services like Netflix, Max, Showtime, and more will carry over seamlessly to the new experience once you’ve upgraded to NOW TV.
However, please note, if you’re watching Cinemax, Starz, and/or MGM+ online, you’ll need to cancel your existing subscription and purchase these services through Comcast to access them on your Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex.
If I cancel my NOW TV subscription, do I have to return my streaming TV Box to Xfinity?
No, you can keep your streaming TV Box and continue to stream content as an Xfinity customer on your Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity or Xfinity Flex.
