Why do I need to sign in to watch online?
Live streaming the Olympic and Paralympic Games is a benefit of your Xfinity TV service and requires you to use your Xfinity ID and password to access the Games.
I'm a Comcast subscriber but I don't think I have an Xfinity ID. How can I get one?
All Xfinity TV customers are able to create an Xfinity ID and password. It's included with your Xfinity TV service. To set up an Xfinity ID, you'll need your mobile phone number, account number and address or the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) and birthdate to verify your account.
What does the sign-in process involve?
At NBCOlympics.com or on the NBC Sports app, it's as easy as selecting XFINITY from the provider list. If you're out of your home, you'll be prompted to enter your Xfinity ID and password to verify your Xfinity TV service. If you're in your home, we'll attempt to sign you in automatically.
How does automatic sign-in work?
We'll try signing you in automatically whenever you're watching the Olympic and Paralympic Games at NBCOlympics.com or on the NBC Sports app from your home. If you have both Xfinity Internet and Xfinity TV, we'll match up the IP address assigned to your modem with the IP address from which you're trying to watch to verify your account automatically, so you can just sit back and enjoy the event.
How can I opt out of using automatic sign-in?
If you'd like to opt out of automatic sign-in, simply sign in to My Account and select Turn Off under Auto Authentication. You must be the primary account holder to use this feature.
How is my sign-in information protected?
Comcast does not share your Xfinity account or billing information with the network as part of the sign-in process. For details on how we collect and use information, view our Privacy Policy.
