Consumers can submit a request to download the personal information we may have collected about you. As part of this process, you may be required to take a photo of your driver’s license or state ID on your mobile phone and send it to us to verify your identity.
It’s important that we're able to clearly see your ID and all its details in the photo, as we might not be able to process your request otherwise. Be sure to review it before you send it to us, and read on for tips about how to get the best image.

Photo tips
When taking the photo:
- Use a contrasting background color that is not solid white or black.
- Center the ID document in the capture window on your mobile phone.
- Avoid glare on the ID document.
- Make sure the ID document is in focus and not blurry.
- Make sure the ID document is not cropped so much that information is missing or so little so that we can’t make out the details.
