With Xfinity X1, you can easily set Parental Controls based on your child’s age using Quick Setup.
Using Quick Setup
- Press the xfinity button on your remote control to access the Main Menu.
- Use the left arrow or right arrow button to highlight Settings. Press OK.
- Use down arrow button to highlight Parental Controls. Press OK.
- If you have previously set Parental Control settings, select Parental Control Level.
- Select your Auto-Set Parental Controls from the listed options: Little Kids: 2-6 Years, Older Kids: 7-12 Years or Teens: 13-17 Years. Then, click Save.
- Select all applications you would like to lock from the listed applications. Then, click Save.
- Use the on screen keypad to create a Parental Controls PIN if you haven’t already.
- If you haven’t already created a Purchase PIN, you can complete the process by creating a Purchase PIN.
