Use Quick Setup for X1 Parental Controls

With Xfinity X1, you can easily set Parental Controls based on your child’s age using Quick Setup.

Using Quick Setup

1. Press the xfinity button on your remote control to access the Main Menu.
2. Use the left arrow or right arrow button to highlight Settings. Press OK.
   
   
   
3. Use down arrow button to highlight Parental Controls. Press OK.
   
   
   
4. If you have previously set Parental Control settings, select Parental Control Level.
   
   
   
5. Select your Auto-Set Parental Controls from the listed options: Little Kids: 2-6 Years, Older Kids: 7-12 Years or Teens: 13-17 Years. Then, click Save.
   
   
   
6. Select all applications you would like to lock from the listed applications. Then, click Save.
   
   
   
7. Use the on screen keypad to create a Parental Controls PIN if you haven’t already.
   
   
   
8. If you haven’t already created a Purchase PIN, you can complete the process by creating a Purchase PIN.
