Rename an Xfinity Camera or Video Doorbell

You can use the Xfinity app or Xfinity Home app to rename your camera.

Rename a camera or video doorbell from the Xfinity app

1. Sign in to the Xfinity app.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Scroll down to the desired camera or video doorbell and select the camera thumbnail.
4. On the Camera screen, select the gear icon at the upper right.
5. On the Camera Settings screen, select Edit.
6. Enter the new camera name, then select Apply.

Rename a camera from the Xfinity Home app

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. Scroll down to the desired camera and select the camera thumbnail.
3. On the Camera screen, select the three dots at the upper-right.
4. On the Camera Settings screen, select the pencil next to the camera name.
5. Enter the new camera name, then select Done.
