Take a few moments to review the steps and questions below before shipping your phone. Please follow this checklist carefully. If the conditions aren't met, we may not be able to process your trade-in.

1: Inspect your phone
- Does the phone that you're shipping match the make and model on your purchase receipt?
- Does the phone power on when fully charged?
- Does the screen work when turned on, without any cracks or other damage to the display screen?
- Is the phone free of liquid damage?
- If your phone shows evidence of direct or indirect moisture, it isn't eligible.
- Is the phone free of damage?
- Minor scratches and scuffs are ok, but we won’t accept phones with cracks, splits or fractures.
- Phones with physical damage (i.e., a missing button or damaged charging port) also aren't eligible.

- Is the display functional and free from damage?

2: Prepare your phone
- Have you backed up your personal data and removed your memory card (if your phone has one)?
- If you’re trading in an iPhone, disable Find My iPhone.
- From your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud (or Settings > iCloud), then turn off Find My iPhone.
- Have you factory reset your phone?
Note: If your phone isn't in working order, or doesn’t meet the requirements above, we may be unable to complete your trade-in.
3: Ship your phone
- If your phone has a removable battery, keep the battery inside the phone.
- Pack the phone securely to keep it safe during transit.
- We recommend a sturdy box with protective padding.
- Limit one phone per package.
- Using the receipt and mailing label included in the email you received when you accepted the trade-in offer:
- Print the receipt and mailing label.
- Cut out the receipt and place it inside your package.
- Cut out the prepaid merchandise return label and attach it to your package.
- If you’re trading in multiple phones, ship each phone separately with its own return label included in your order confirmation email.
- Keep the email you received for your records.
- It contains the IMEI and package tracking number that you’ll need to reference if you have questions about your trade-in.
- Mail the package through the United States Postal Service with standard shipping.
