The Shop the Moment app is a free shopping app on Xfinity X1. With the app, you can explore product details, add items to your cart, and scan a QR code to complete purchases on your mobile device.
To access the Shop the Moment app, you’ll need:
- A compatible X1 TV Box with Xfinity X1 service. The following devices are not compatible:
- Arris XG1v1
- Digital Television Adapters (DTAs)
- Non-X1/Legacy TV Boxes
- Pace XG1v1
- RNG150 TV Boxes
- Samsung XG2v2
- Xi3 Devices
- Xfinity Internet service (any level).
- A mobile device to complete your purchase.

How can I use the Shop the Moment app?
Currently, the Shop the Moment app is only available on episodes of Bravo’s Top Chef, Season 21 — but stay tuned, as we plan to add more shows in the future. When Shop the Moment becomes available, you’ll see a button on the bottom right of your screen that reads Click to Shop Now. You can then follow the on-screen prompts to purchase items featured in or inspired by the content you’re watching.
Why can't I access the Shop the Moment app on my X1 TV Box?
Shop the Moment is only available on select shows at this time. Additionally, the app isn’t compatible with the devices listed above. You can exchange your box by contacting us.
I don’t have Xfinity TV but I have Xfinity Internet. Can I access the Shop the Moment app?
No, Shop the Moment is only available with an Xfinity X1 subscription.
Is the app in HD?
Yes.
Is the app in 4K?
No.
Does using the Shop the Moment app count against my monthly internet data usage?
Yes, content is streamed over the internet, and will count towards your monthly data usage.
How do I block access to the Shop the Moment app?
There are two ways you can set parental controls for the app:
- Lock TV-MA content under Settings > Parental Controls > TV Rating Locks. Once locked, a parental control locks PIN is required before you can access the app.
- You can block access to the app using an Application Lock.
Use the Shop the Moment app on your X1 TV Box
If Shop the Moment is available during the program you’re watching, you’ll see a button on the bottom-right of your screen that reads, Click to Shop Now.
- Highlight the Click to Shop Now button and press OK to launch the Shop the Moment app.
- Note: This will pause the content you’re watching.
- The Shop the Moment app will open. Here, you can browse available products that are featured in or inspired by the episode you’re watching.
- Using your X1 Voice Remote, highlight the tile of the item you’re interested in and press OK to see product details.
- Next, select your product customizations (e.g., size, color, etc.).
- Once finished, your purchase details will display. You can then add your items to your cart by highlighting Add to Cart and pressing OK on your remote.
- Next, scan the QR code using your mobile device. You can then complete your purchase from your mobile device.
Complete the purchase on your mobile device
- When you scan the QR code, you’ll see the Customer Information screen. Enter your email address and the address you’d like to ship your order to. Once finished, tap CONTINUE TO SHIPPING.
- Determine your preferred shipping method. Then, tap CONTINUE TO PAYMENT.
- Enter your preferred payment details and billing address (if different from your shipping address). Then, tap REVIEW ORDER.
- Confirm all your order details are accurate. Then, to finish your order, tap PLACE ORDER.
