Paperless billing lets you view and pay your bill online. Instead of a monthly paper bill, you'll get an email with your amount due, due date listed and a link to your account where you can view your bill statement.
Activating paperless billing unsubscribes you from receiving monthly paper bill statements. You may still get other types of direct mail from Comcast. To sign up for paperless billing, your Xfinity ID must have bill pay permissions.
Only primary users and managers can view, manage, and pay bills in their account.
If you don’t need instructions, let's take you directly to signing up for paperless billing.
Note: If you use online banking and receive Comcast bill email notifications from your financial institution, you must unenroll from your online banking site before setting up Comcast Billing Preferences through your account (paperless billing or paper bill statements).

FAQs
I switched to paperless billing, but I'm still receiving mail from Comcast. Why?
Comcast is legally required to send certain communications by mail, so you may still occasionally receive mail from us.
Why did I start receiving an email saying my bill is ready to view if I'm already getting a paper bill?
Emails letting you know your bill is ready to view are service communications. We send these emails to let you know about important changes to your services and to keep you up-to-date on things like billing transactions and adjustments, channel lineup changes, upcoming service interruptions, weather-related outages and more.
We automatically send all our customers an email to let you know there's an easy way to view and pay your bill online.
How will I know when my bill is available for viewing?
A reminder is sent to your email address each month letting you know your bill is now available. You can also view your last 24 monthly billing statements in your account.
Can I change the email address to which my statement is emailed?
Yes. A reminder that your bill is available will be sent to your preferred email address.
To change your preferred email address and what types of alerts and notifications you receive, see how to manage the settings of your Comcast email.
What if I don't see the email you sent me about my bill?
If you're enrolled in automatic payments, you'll receive an email when your bill is ready to view and email reminders shortly before your bill is due too. You can also opt in to getting text message reminders in your account settings, and you can always view your full monthly bill in your account anywhere, anytime.
How do I cancel paperless billing and switch back to a paper bill?
To get a paper bill in the mail, you'll have to opt out of paperless billing. If you want to receive a direct mail paper copy of your bill instead of using paperless billing, follow the steps above but toggle paperless billing to the Off position.
Even if you're not enrolled in paperless billing, you can log in to your account to view, download and print your bill online.
- Note: Once you opt out of paperless billing, you’ll receive a paper copy of your bill in the mail with your next billing cycle.
Why am I being asked for a PIN?
If you have Xfinity Voice service, you may need to provide your four-digit Security PIN as a secure method of identifying yourself when you talk with us. You can view your PIN by signing into your account while connected to your in-home Xfinity Internet network.
If you don't have Xfinity Internet, you can get your PIN via automated call, email (if your account has existed for 30 days or more) or direct mail. If you don't have a PIN, you can sign into your account to have it resent. Learn more about instructions for resending your Security PIN.
Will paperless billing impact my automatic payment preferences?
No. If you opt in to paperless billing, the full monthly balance on your account will continue to be charged to your preferred payment method on the date the bill is due.
Not currently enrolled in automatic payments? Simply visit your account and sign in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password.
