The Spotify app is now available to all Xfinity Flex, Xumo Stream Box, and eligible Xfinity X1 customers! Spotify is a digital audio streaming service that gives you access to millions of songs and podcasts.
To use the Spotify app, you’ll need:
- A compatible X1 TV Box (RNG150 and Pace XG1v1 devices aren’t supported), or a streaming TV Box with Xumo Stream Box or Xfinity Flex service.
- Xfinity Internet (any level).
Access the Spotify app on your TV Box or streaming TV Box
You can find the Spotify app by saying "Spotify" into your Xfinity Voice Remote. You can also:
- From the main menu, select Apps.
- Select the Spotify tile.
- X1: Find it under the Featured or Music & Podcasts rows.
- Flex: Find it under the Music & Audio row.
- Xumo Stream Box: Find it under the Music & Audio row.
- X1: Find it under the Featured or Music & Podcasts rows.
Log in to the Spotify app
- Log in to the Spotify app on X1 and Flex with a Spotify free (ad-supported) or Spotify Premium account.
- Select LOG IN, then OK.
Note: If you haven't signed up for Spotify, you’ll need to select SIGN UP FOR FREE and follow the on-screen instructions to create a Spotify free account and sign in. - Complete your login either by activation code or email and password:

How do I block access to Spotify on X1, Xumo Stream Box, and Flex?
There are several ways you can set parental controls for the Spotify app on X1, Xumo Stream Box, and Flex:
- Lock TV-MA content on Flex or X1 under Settings > Parental Controls > TV Rating Locks. Once locked, a Parental Control PIN will be required before you can access the Spotify app.
- You can block access to the Spotify app on X1 using an Application Lock.
