If you’ve submitted a request to download, delete or correct the personal information we maintain, and you're not satisfied with our response, you can appeal our decision.
To submit an appeal for further review, please follow the steps below. You can also read our Privacy Policy to learn more about how we process these requests.
I Currently Have an Account
First, you'll need to access the download, deletion or corrections request you would like to appeal for further review.
- Visit the Privacy Center.
- Select your state and click I’d like to access a request I’ve already made.
- Select the Comcast Group from the original request, then click Continue.
- Sign in to your Xfinity account with your Xfinity ID and password.
- Enter the code sent to your mobile device.
- Enter the code sent to your email to verify your email, and click on box to affirm that you are the individual making the request.
- Click Continue.
- Go to the Dashboard Request Details page.
- Select Not satisfied with our response?
- Add the details of your appeal to the text box provided, then Submit.
- You'll receive an email once the appeal request has been processed and completed. You can also check the status of the request by accessing your dashboard.
I Used To Have an Account or I Never Had an Account
- Visit the Privacy Center.
- Select your state and click I’d like to access a request I’ve already made.
- Select the Comcast Group that may have your personal information.
- If you don't have an active account, or if you don't know your Xfinity ID and password, select No.
- Enter the contact information you submitted earlier in your request, then click Submit.
- We’ll send a verification code to your email you previously provided with a request to verify your identity.
- Enter the verification code and click on the box to affirm that you are the individual whose personal information is the subject of the request.
- Click Continue.
- The next screen will show all requests. Click on Not satisfied with our response? for the one you’d like to appeal.
- Add the details of your appeal to the text box provided, then click Submit.
- You'll receive an email once the appeal request has been completed. You can also check the status of the request by accessing your dashboard.
