If you have a past-due balance, you may be eligible to sign up for a temporary service plan that allows you to stay connected with Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Voice at a lower monthly rate while putting other Xfinity services on hold for 90 days. To get started, follow the steps below or chat with Xfinity Assistant.
Sign up for temporary services
- When you log into My Account, you may see a message about flexible payments. Select Chat for options to launch Xfinity Assistant.
- Select I’d like to see my payment options.
- Tell Xfinity Assistant that you'd like to sign up for temporary services and select Sign up to proceed. To learn about installment plans, see how to set up an installment plan for a past-due balance.
- Select the service plan you would like to sign up for temporarily. You may be eligible for a temporary service plan that includes both Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Voice.
- If you have a past-due balance, you’ll need to pay off your past-due balance to proceed.
- If you’re eligible, you can make a minimum $50 payment and enroll in a 12-month installment plan for your past-due balance.
- Don’t close the page because you must submit your payment to finish your enrollment for temporary services.
- After you’ve paid any past-due balance, you’ll see a confirmation of your temporary service plan. We’ll also send you a confirmation email. It could take a couple days for your temporary service plan to begin.
