I Can't Control My Lock from the Xfinity Home App
Before you begin:
- Have you installed your August Smart Lock and August Connect and activated your lock with the August app?
- Have you connected your August Smart Lock to the Xfinity Home app?
- Do you know how to control your Lock from the Xfinity Home app?
- Is a rule to control your Lock not working?
- Make sure that you have the August Connect WiFi bridge, which is required to control the Lock via the Xfinity Home app.
- Restart the Xfinity Home app.
- If the problem continues, confirm that you can control your Lock from the August app.
- If you can control your Lock from the August app, wait a few minutes, and then please try the Xfinity Home app again or call 1-800-xfinity.
- If you can't control your Lock from the August app, check the August device's WiFi connection. If the August device is connected (no blinking lights on the August Connect), contact August Support at 844-284-8781 during the following hours of operation:
- Monday through Friday - 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM PT
- Saturday - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM PT.
