- Access to your Xfinity Home touchscreen

The screen is blank
- Tap the screen to make sure it's not in sleep mode.
- If your touchscreen has side buttons or a Home button underneath the screen area, press one to make sure the touchscreen is not in sleep mode.
- Make sure the touchscreen is plugged in to a working power outlet that's not controlled by a light switch.
- If it is plugged in, unplug the touchscreen from the power outlet, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
- If it is not plugged in, the touchscreen is running on battery backup and the screen automatically turns off to conserve battery life.
- Plug the touchscreen into a working power outlet that's not controlled by a light switch.
- If the screen is still blank, please contact us.
The touchscreen doesn't look right
- Unplug the touchscreen from the power outlet, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
- If the touchscreen display does not improve, please contact us.
The touchscreen displays an alert
An alert means that your touchscreen or one of your devices has a problem. Learn about alerts and how to resolve them.
I want to check the touchscreen's internet connection
If your touchscreen loses its internet connection, a message will appear on the touchscreen display and will walk you through the troubleshooting process.
If you don't see this type of message, but you think there might be a problem with the internet connection, you can check the connection.
I need to restart the touchscreen
You usually won't need to restart your touchscreen unless instructed to do so by Xfinity Home support. Learn how to restart your touchscreen.
Weather isn't working
If you're having problems with the weather information on your touchscreen:
- Make sure the touchscreen is connected to the internet.
- See the I Want to Check the Touchscreen's Internet Connection section above.
- Wait 15 to 20 minutes.
- When the touchscreen internet connection is working, the weather is automatically updated about every 15 minutes.
- If the weather is still not working, please contact us.
I can't hear my touchscreen
If you can't hear your touchscreen, you can adjust the volume or turn on the Keypad chime to supplement the alert notification for some actions.
