Do I need to register or sign in to use Tubi on X1?
No, you don't need to register or sign in to use Tubi on X1. However, if you sign up/sign in to Tubi, you can see personalized recommendations in the app, as well as the option to "add" titles to your list. This list can then be shared with other devices that you’re signed in to (phones, tablets, etc).
Does it cost anything to use Tubi on X1?
Aside from Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet charges, there are no additional charges for getting Tubi via X1. Tubi is supported by video ads that run before and during each title.
Will streaming Tubi on X1 TV Boxes count towards my monthly Internet data usage?
Yes. Tubi is delivered over your Xfinity Internet service to your X1 Box; therefore, Tubi will be subject to the same rules, terms and conditions that affect Xfinity Internet service, including any data usage plans that may apply.
Are there any X1 TV Boxes that Tubi isn't available on?
Yes, because of technical limits with some X1 TV Boxes, Tubi isn't available on RNG150 devices.
How fast of an Internet connection do I need to have Tubi?
You can access Tubi with any Xfinity Internet speed.
Is Tubi content available in High Definition (HD)?
Yes, Tubi content is available for streaming in HD (at 720p).
How do I block access to Tubi on X1?
You can set Parental Controls for Tubi by doing either:
- Block Tubi by selecting Settings > Parental Controls > TV Rating Locks > TV-MA.
- Once locked, a Parental Control PIN is required before you can open the Tubi app.
- Use an Application Lock by selecting Settings > Parental Controls > Applications > Tubi.

Note: Once the Tubi app is opened, X1 Parental Control settings won't guard against content searches or playback within the Tubi app.
Does Tubi have Parental Controls?
Parental Controls within the Tubi app are only available if you're a registered user. If you're registered, you can access Parental Controls:
- Go to tubi.tv on a web browser and sign in. After you sign in, click your name at the top-right corner.
- Click Account Settings.
- Click on the Parental Controls tab and choose your preferred level of Parental Controls.
Does Tubi have Closed Captioning (CC)?
While the Tubi app supports CC, it may not be available for every video in Tubi.
Note: Your X1 accessibility user preferences will not be observed once you open the app.
How do I turn on CC in the Tubi app?
While watching a video in the Tubi app, select the down arrow on your TV remote and switch the CC button to the On position.
Why are there ads playing when I watch Tubi? Why do the same ads play more than once?
Tubi uses an ad platform service that chooses ads to show to customers in real-time. Sometimes, this causes the same ad to run multiple times over a short period.
Why do I see some content available on Tubi's app/website but can't find the same piece of content within the Tubi app on X1?
Tubi sometimes tests new content on a limited-device basis before offering it everywhere; therefore, you may see some Tubi content on its mobile app before it's available on the X1 app.

Why can't I access the Tubi app on my X1 TV Box?
If you don't see Tubi content on your X1 TV Box, please verify that you have:
- A compatible X1 TV Box (RNG150 devices aren't supported).
- Xfinity Internet Service (any level).
- You won’t be able to access Tubi on X1 if you’re enrolled in a Comcast Seasonal Convenience Plan; however, you can continue to use Tubi on other supported devices with Internet access.
