Each Xfinity Voice account has a single, four-digit CPNI Security PIN that protects access to Voice features online and over the phone. If you are a new customer, you should have received your Voice Security PIN through an automated phone call to your Xfinity Voice number or by mail (US mail delivery occurs within five to seven business days).
If you're an Xfinity Voice and Xfinity Internet customer, you can view or change your Security PIN simply by logging in to xfinity.com while connected to your in-home Xfinity network.
Note: You must be the Primary user on your account to change your Xfinity Voice Security PIN.

FAQs
I received a letter saying that I have a new Security PIN number. What does this mean?
Your Security PIN is a four-digit number used to protect your confidential telephone user information, which includes information on how much you use your phone and the numbers you have dialed. In order for this information to be released to you, either over the phone or in a chat session, you must provide your Security PIN. You may change this number at any time.
What is the difference between my secret question and my security question?
Your secret question is for self-resetting the password associated with your Xfinity ID. Your security question is used as a second layer of authentication by an agent to grant access to:
- Access your Call Detail Records.
- Make account changes that will affect access to your confidential information in the event that you forget your Security PIN.
Can you reset my Security PIN over the phone?
For security reasons, Comcast cannot reset your Security PIN over the phone. If you would like your PIN reset, please follow the steps above.
I was already an Xfinity Internet and/or Xfinity TV customer, but I recently signed up for Xfinity Voice service. Now I can't access my account information on xfinity.com. Why is this happening?
You will still be able to view some information online; however, Xfinity Voice CPNI information, including billing details, voice information and voice features will be protected until a Security PIN is provided.
If you did not receive your Security PIN by phone or mail, you can request a new Security PIN at any time.
I lost my Security PIN. Can you provide it for me?
If you subscribe to Xfinity Internet, you can retrieve your Security PIN by logging in to xfinity.com while connected to your in-home Xfinity network.
If you are not an Xfinity Internet subscriber and don't know or have forgotten your Voice Security PIN, you can opt to have it re-sent to you.
Can I see a copy of Comcast's Security Policy?
Yes, you can view a copy of Comcast's Security Policy on xfinity.com.
