If you think your existing cable line wasn't installed properly or is delivering a poor signal, our experienced technicians will test the line with special tools to optimize the performance of your Xfinity services.
There are a few reasons you may not be eligible for a Getting Started kit:
- If an address has never had Xfinity service in the past, a technician may need to install a cable line to deliver Xfinity services to the property.
- If an address has not had Xfinity service for the past 12 months, a technician will have to check that the cable line is properly fitted and delivering a signal.
- In some areas, customers can self-install service even if their home has not had active service in over 12 months. A technician is scheduled to check the outside connection, and no one is required to be home at that time.
- If an installation is complex or includes four or more pieces of equipment, a professional installation is recommended.
