To start using the features of the X1 Cloud DVR on Xfinity X1, you will first need to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Note: X1 Cloud DVR is available only to a limited number of customers in select Comcast areas at this time. We are continually expanding this service, however, if you receive the Coverage is Still Limited error message when attempting to use this feature on the Xfinity Stream portal or the Xfinity Stream app, this means the service is not yet available in your market.
Activate X1 Cloud DVR
Follow the onscreen prompts to accept the Terms and Conditions. The onscreen prompts for activation may appear up to three times and will need to be accepted in order for the X1 Cloud DVR features to be activated.
If you decline the Terms and Conditions three times, you will need to activate the cloud services in the Settings menu:
- Press the xfinity button on the remote. The navigation bar appears.
- Use the right arrow button on the remote to navigate to the gear icon. Press the OK button on the remote to open the Settings menu.
- Press the OK button on Preferences to proceed to the next menu. Press the OK button on General to open the option.
- Use the down arrow button to navigate to An update is available for your DVR. Press the OK button to update.
- Use the OK button to follow the onscreen prompts and accept the Terms and Conditions.
