This article provides instructions on how to change menus and guide language from Spanish to English (United States) using the Xfinity X1 guide. You can also now view the X1 guide in Canadian English.
Change the X1 menu language with a voice command
- Say "English Menu" into the Voice Remote.
- Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Inglés (EE. UU.) or Inglés (Canada) and press the OK button on your remote.
- To confirm changing your menus and guide language to English, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.
Change the X1 menu language from the Settings menu
To access Menu Language Settings:
- Press the xfinity button on your remote.
- Use the right or left arrow button on your remote to select the gear icon. Press the OK button on your remote to access the Settings menu.
- Use the up or down arrow button to highlight Idioma, then press the OK button on your remote.
- Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Idioma del menú and press the OK button on your remote.
- Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Inglés (EE. UU.) or Inglés (Canada) and press the OK button on your remote.
- To confirm changing your menus and guide language to English or Canadian English, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.
Change the X1 menu language from Search
- While watching TV, use your remote keypad to type the word English (keys: 3645474).
- Use the up or down arrow button to highlight the Language Settings Menu option, then press the OK button on your remote to select.
- Use the up or down arrow button to navigate to highlight Idioma del menú and press the OK button on your remote.
- Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Inglés (EE. UU.) or Inglés (Canada) and press the OK button on your remote.
- To confirm changing your menus and guide language to English, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.
