XRE-00021 is caused by a temporary channel tuning issue.
"We’re having some trouble on our end. This channel isn’t currently available. Please try tuning away from this channel for a few seconds and then tune back to it. If that doesn’t work, please try again in a few minutes. XRE-00021."

You can also try the following:
- Ensure all TV connections are tight.
- Select Try Again on-screen.
- Press the channel up or down button to change to another channel, then change back. If this doesn't work, follow step four.
- Perform a restart of the X1 TV Box or unplug your TV Box for one to two minutes and then plug it back in.
- Simply say "Restart TV Box"into your Xfinity Voice Remote.
Most of the time, this error fixes itself in about one hour. Sometimes, it might take longer. You can watch live or On Demand videos using the Xfinity Stream app on your phone, smart TV, or computer.
