The iHeartRadio app on X1, Xumo Stream Box, and Xumo from Xfinity allows you to listen to music from your favorite artist’s radio or from more than 800 live radio stations over a wide range of genres.
To use the iHeartRadio app, you'll need:
- A compatible Xfinity X1 TV Box, Xumo Stream Box, or Xumo from Xfinity streaming box.
- Xfinity Internet (any level).
Access iHeartRadio on your TV Box
Xfinity X1 or Xumo from Xfinity
- Press the Xfinity button on your remote.
- Select Apps from the Home screen.
- Navigate to the iHeartRadio tile and select it.
Note: You can also use a voice command like “Open iHeartRadio” on your Xfinity Voice Remote (press and hold the microphone button) to instantly get to the app.
Xumo Stream Box
- Navigate to the Apps row of your Home screen by pressing down on the directional pad of your XR100 remote.
- Select Apps (View all).
- Scroll to the Xumo Stream Box tile and select it with the center of your remote’s directional pad.
Sign up or log in to iHeartRadio on X1
- Launch the iHeartRadio app.
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon), then Account.
- Select Log In and follow the on-screen prompts to activate your account or sign in to an existing one.
Note: You do not need to create an iHeartRadio account to listen to and search for music.
This just enables you to save your favorites and better tailor your experience.
Use your Xfinity Voice Remote to play an artist or radio station
You can easily play songs from your favorite artist or radio station by adding "on iHeartRadio" to your Xfinity Voice Remote commands. For example, you can say:
- "Listen to The Weeknd on iHeartRadio"
- "Z100 on iHeartRadio"
Favorite a station
When logged in to the iHeartRadio app, you can create a list of Favorite stations. Once a station is favorited, it will appear in the My Stations menu at the top of the iHeartRadio app.
- Launch the iHeartRadio app.
- Log in to your iHeartRadio account.
- Select a station, navigate to the heart icon and press OK.
- This station can now be accessed in My Stations when you are logged in to your iHeartRadio account.
