- Reset parental control locks PIN and purchase PIN
- Activate and/or deactivate PIN requirement to access your online account and voicemail apps on your TV

Getting started
Before getting started, you'll need your Xfinity ID and password. Learn more about how to set up or recover an Xfinity ID or password.
- Begin by accessing xfinity.com/stream/ on your computer, laptop or mobile device.
- Log in using your Xfinity ID or email address and password.
- Click the Settings icon in the top right corner, which allows you to reset your parental controls, manage your purchase PINs and update your TV app settings.
Manage parental controls
Manage parental controls for Xfinity Stream by following the steps below. To manage parental controls for X1, see Set up your locks PIN and turn parental controls on and off for X1.
- On the Settings page, select the lock icon to access Parental Controls.
- From here, you can set up and modify your parental control PIN, lock certain types of content, or reset your parental control settings.
Manage purchase PIN
- On the Settings page, select the Purchase PIN icon.
- Select Enable Purchase PIN to require a PIN on your TV Boxes, the Xfinity Stream web portal (xfinity.com/stream) or the Xfinity Stream app when attempting to:
- Purchase or rent content.
- Subscribe to new channels.
- Notes:
- You can create, change or remove purchase PINs for your devices from this page.
- A purchase PIN must be set separately for each TV Box you have, but only once for all Stream devices.
