Download and install the Xfinity Stream app for Android devices

Install the Xfinity Stream app to stream live TV, Xfinity On Demand, cloud DVR recordings, or Xfinity On Demand purchases.

Planning to be offline? Xfinity Stream app also allows you to download cloud DVR recordings (for X1 DVR customers), Xfinity On Demand purchases, and select Xfinity On Demand programs.

You can download the Xfinity Stream app for Android from Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.

Install the Xfinity Stream app from Google Play

1. Open the Google Play app from your Android mobile device.
2. Enter "XFINITY Stream" in the search bar (press the magnifying glass to perform the search).
3. Scroll through the search results to find the Xfinity Stream app.
4. Tap the XFINITY Stream icon to open the app page.
5. Tap Install from the Xfinity Stream app page to download and install the app to the device.

Install the Xfinity Stream app from the Amazon Appstore

For non-Kindle Fire Android devices:

• It's recommended to use Google Play.
• If Google Play is unavailable, use the Amazon Appstore or the official Amazon Underground app.
  • Use the same process to find and download the Xfinity Stream app as you do with Google Play (see above for instructions).

If you have an Amazon Fire TV:

• You can only download the Stream app from the Amazon App store.

For Kindle Fire devices:

• App installation instructions may vary slightly.

• The Xfinity Stream app is only compatible with select Kindle Fire devices.
