If you receive this error message during the xFi Pods activation process:
- Make sure that you are not setting your phone down when activating your xFi Pod. You should hold your phone six to eight inches away from your first xFi Pod while connecting.
- Check that your first xFi Pod is placed with at least one room separating it from your xFi Gateway (within approximately 20 to 30 feet).
- Make sure your xFi Pod is visible and not blocked by furniture or other large objects.
- Try unplugging the xFi Pod and plugging it back in. Check for a small light on the front of the xFi Pod.
- If no light turns on when the xFi Pod is first plugged in, please contact us to troubleshoot.
- Check that your xFi Pod is not plugged in to power outlets that are connected to light switches.
- Do not connect your xFi Pod directly to your xFi Gateway using the Ethernet port on the bottom of the xFi Pod. The xFi Pods connect wirelessly to the xFi Gateway. You will not be able to activate your xFi Pods if one is connected directly to the Gateway.
- Try activating another xFi Pod from the pack.
- Try disabling Bluetooth on your phone and activating your WiFi Boost Pod using manual entry of the serial number (located on the back of the Pod).
- Note: The link to enter the serial number manually is available on the Bluetooth Required/Recommended screen that displays when you decline the app's request to enable Bluetooth.
